"To everything there is a season..." (Ecc 3:1). After 17 years of faithful service at WAC, Pastor Paul has announced his retirement, which will take effect on May 1, 2026. We give thanks to God for his leadership, teaching and care for our church family. We also look forward with excitement to see how God will use him to reach people for Christ beyond retirement. We invite our whole church to pray and to give support to Pastor Paul and Margaret during this season of transition.

October 2025 Update
The Elder Board is pleased to share that a Lead Pastor Search Committee has been officially formed and affirmed to begin the prayerful work of seeking the next senior leader for Westwood Alliance Church.
This committee consists of the following members:
Pastor Ming Wong, Peter Cheung, John Wu, Harvey Yung, Terry Lau, John Lok
Over the coming season, the committee will begin listening, praying, and discerning carefully, trusting that God is preparing the right person to lead our church into its next chapter. The process will be approached with care and attentiveness, allowing room for God's timing and leading. The transition of the Lead Pastor role will take place after May 2026.
We invite and encourage you to join in this process through prayer:
- Pray for the Search Committee to have wisdom, unity, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
- Pray for our church to remain unified and hopeful.
- And pray that God would prepare and send His servant to lead Westwood faithfully into the future.
長老會在此宣佈，主任牧師招聘委員會已正式成立並獲得長老會確認。委員會將以禱告開始，展開高貴林宣道會下一位主任牧師的聘請工作。
