Welcome to Westwood Alliance Church! We offer free (Note: a $50 government fee applies), one-on-one help for people who have difficulty completing the Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) Card Renewal Form because of language barriers.

Clinic Date & Time: Saturday, November 14, 2026 | 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: Westwood Alliance Church (Connections Room), 3129 Ozada Ave, Coquitlam, BC
Cost: Our help is free. The government fee of $50 is paid to IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) by credit card. 

Who can get help? You must meet ALL of these:

  • Your PR card expires in less than 9 months (or is already expired).

  • You have not lost your PR status. For example, you have not become a Canadian citizen, received a removal order, OR failed the residency obligation.

  • You must have proof showing that you meet the residency obligation in the past five (5) years immediately before the application

Please bring ALL of these original documents:

  • Valid passport

  • Current PR card

  • Recent photo that meets official PR renewal photo requirements

  • Proof that you lived in Canada in the past 5 years, for example: tax notices (Notice of Assessment), pay stubs or employment letters, lease or utility bills, bank statements 

Note: We cannot complete your form if you do not meet all of the eligibility requirements or do not bring all the original documents.


Completing the form takes 30-45 minutes if you have all your documents.

誰可以獲得協助？您必須符合以下所有資格：

  • 您的PR卡有效期剩餘不足 9個月，或您的PR卡已經過期。

  • 您尚未喪失加拿大永久居民身分。例如：您尚未入籍成為加拿大公民、未被簽發離境令，亦未因未能符合居住義務而喪失永久居民身分。

  • 您必須能夠提供證明，顯示您在遞交申請前的過去五年內符合居住義務。

請攜帶以下所有文件正本：

  • 有效護照

  • 現有的PR卡

  • 符合官方PR卡續期照片要求的近期照片

  • 過去五年在加拿大居住的證明，例如：報稅評估通知（Notice of Assessment）、工資單、僱主證明信、租約、水電費帳單或銀行月結單。
