Child Dedication (Fall 2023) / 孩童奉獻（2023秋季）
We believe children are God's gift to the family and to the church (Psalm 127:3), thus His heart is to see each child entering into a loving relationship with Himself.
God also expects His followers to raise the next generation with His teachings:
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. (Deut 6:4-7)
Child Dedication is a two-fold act:
- It is your act of declaration that the child's life ultimately belongs to God, the giver of life.
- It is an act of commitment from you and the church community to raise the child in the way of the Lord.
We welcome parents with children (newborns up to Grade 5) to prayerfully consider taking part in this dedication. The registration deadline is September 24th,2023. Our Child Dedication Service will be held on the weekend of October 21st and Oct 22nd in the respective worship services.
孩童奉獻（2023 秋季）
我們相信孩子是神給家庭和教會的禮物（詩篇127:3），因此祂的心就是要看見每個孩子與祂自己進入一種愛的關係。
神也期望跟從祂的子民要以祂的教導去養育下一代：
「以色列啊，你要聽！耶和華－我們上帝是獨一的主。你要盡心、盡性、盡力愛耶和華－你的上帝。我今日所吩咐你的話都要記在心上，也要殷勤教訓你的兒女。無論你坐在家裏，行在路上，躺下，起來，都要談論。也要繫在手上為記號，戴在額上為經文；又要寫在你房屋的門框上，並你的城門上。」（申六4~7）
孩童奉獻是一個一體兩面行動：
- 那父母要宣告孩子的生命最終屬於賜生命的上帝。
- 那父母和教會群體要承諾以主的教導去養育孩子。
有意參與這奉獻禮的父母，我們鼓勵你們認真地禱告，立定心志才報名。
截止日期為2023年9月24日（日）。
奉獻禮將於 2023年10 月 21 日（六）及 2023年10 月 22 日（日）分別在各群體的崇拜中舉行。
